Never done any painting by Diana Andre before so was thrilled to try this one from her.
I must say, that girl does speed up! But also she explains well what she's doing exactly. Together with some different techniques on how to paint clouds, mountain highlights and grass, it is a bit of a challenge at first. But not an unhappy one, I can assure you!
Canvas used was a budget 12"x16". Easiest part were the clouds, the grass and the tree trunks. Toughest were the foliage (although I think I managed well) and the branches.
Please enjoy!
Ah, you're making me a happy man Jos!!
Fantastic job Voy
Lovely job all round. I really liked the way Diane explained doing the highlights and I can see yours are excellent.
Wow! Super job Voy. Great mountains and trees trees trees.
Really nice sky and mountain. But I think I'm especially drawn to the foreground grasses. Really well done. Feels like a wind might be blowing though there.
Thanks Matt, every now and then I can paint beauty iso dragons! 😋😉😁
So happy to read your comment Emma!
Yes, Diane did a great job and I learned several new techniques and approaches to painting!
Brian, any lumberjack would be an overnight millionaire with such forest!! 😋🤩😆
Indeed Tawny, it is part of a new/other technique Diane is using. The camera clearly zoomed in on how to do it and indeed, I tried it out and it works!
Hope more people will benefit from Diane's skills!
Really beautiful painting!
Nice job! Great bare trees there!
Thank you Sandy, so happy you appreciate it!
Indeed Pam, it's like they are standing guard for the rest of the forest!
