Change of heart as well where I started of in a good mood and open spirit only to end up unmotivated and uninspired after a long break (phone, call, coffee, visitor) in the first half of this creation.
Ah well, I tried to save what I could!
Canvas used was a budget 12"x16". Hardest parts were (yet again) the mountains and the foliage. Normally the latter is a forte, pity.
Love the big trees on the left.
Really beautiful painting! The trees are well done and the mountains stand out nicely. Nice job!
All my cheers to you now Sunnylady! I'm impressed with all the valuable and positive things you spotted in this creation, which I myself would dedicate as a failure.
Thank you so much for pointing those great things out to me!!
Yes Umagaan, probably the best of this creation were those trees!
Thanks Kculliton, I just wished the potograph showed a better result since the real canvas shows less as a calamity!

I like your gentle pine trees! The color of the foliage is great! On the mountain you did a great job not to make it very dark and the mountain is quite impressionistic this way. I like that you added dark blue in the sky, this tied the river color to the sky as water reflects the sky.
