Painting with MilanC. part 08: "Wilderness Day"

Just like always, here are the main phases of my painting process:
01. Preparation phase;
02. Sketch phase;
03. Painting phase.

I Preparation phase:

Last time, I painted the first episode of "The Joy of Painting", so I thought for the last day of the year to paint the "Wilderness Day". It's also the last episode of "The Joy of Painting". Because I couldn't find any high quality images of the original painting, I'll be using Ninoum's painting just for a comparison. Here's the source:

For this painting, I’ll be using pencils and crayons on Blok 4 (A4 format paper). Also for painting, I used crayons, wooden colors, pencils and a marker. For colors, I was using a combination of black, gray, yellow, orange, green, red and brown.

II Sketch phase:

In this phase, we'll draw a sketch for the painting. Since the painting was a bit small, I also added wooden frames on both sides. After drawing the sketch, we’ll end up with something like this:

III Painting phase:

For the last phase, we'll first paint the wooden frames on both sides. we'll slowly focus on painting the details on the right and slowly working my way to the left side. For now, it should look something like this:

The only thing left to do after painting the main details is to paint the sky. Nothing really to say, except that everything was simple. But now, the painting should look like this:

If you have other painting suggestions, let me know down below. I hope you enjoy this one, and also one more thing, happy New Year.
