Which paints are used the most as in quantity? I guess titanium white is definitely one. Iβm just thinking about buying bigger tubes of paint of the most used as they are more economical. Thanks.

Thanks Voy. I canβt find a substitute for Indian Yellow, any idea of how to mix two ? Cad Yellow + bright red?
I agree with Voy in that you should probably get the larger tubes. Otherwise it seems like you are constantly buying paint. I also agree with her ranked colors of usage. For sure white is #1, following by cad yellow, crimson, and van dyke.
Thank you for encouraging my comment Matt.
But please do keep in mind that Voy Kay is NOT a girl! Thanks!! πππ

It will depend a bit on what you wish to paint but in following Bob's creations, the following are (for me) the fastest:
1. T-White, almost double of use then nr. 2.
2. Cad Yellow. Mostly because this is a thin paint and you need a lot of it to work with.
3. A. Crimson.
4. VDBrown.
5. Ivory black.
6. Phtalo blue.
I buy Winsor & Newton (studio quality), a good quality and vast paint. For a 200ml sized tube, I pay about 9 Euro (when in promotion), else it is 12 Euro.
There exists a more professional paint of that brand, with much more pigment in it, yet those cost over 25 Euros a tube (200ml).
Personally, it is worth it to invest in larger tubes except maybe for some colours. Least used are Bright red, Indian red and Phtalo green.
Happy painting!
