I hope this appropriate to share here. If not allowed, let me know and I'll delete it.
I have been building 1/35 scale military models off and on since about 1990. It was then that I met a club member who painting scale miniature busts. He painted with oil paints and I went to a class but just could never catch on to it. I was horrible at it. Along the way, I accumulated 230+ tubes of various tubes of oil paints. I ended up switching to acrylics for my miniature painting a few years ago.
I just wanted to drop a few pics here to show you a few of the miniatures I have painted. Most are 1/9, 1/10 scale which makes the faces in general about the size of a USA quarter. I can paint a bust in 20-30 hours on average.
Superstuff Tony!
Waw, such delicate, accurate and detailed painting on such a small scale! You need a real steady hand for that, something that I'm missing due to circumstances.
So happy you shared these!
