Dec. '22: Loved the magic of painting those northern lights! The mountain scared me - I had tried a few, but they were always so flat. Yet with a lot of focus I made it work this time (in anything but 28 minutes!! 😂). My pine tree still looks like a christmas tree though... the reason why I stuck with just one... sorry Bob! 😆
Ps. The second picture actually shows the white as it truly is, without the pink/yellow(ish) glow.

I love this painting, Marit. I've never seen the northern lights but this looks like so many photos that I've seen. The lake looks cold and crisp. I like how your colors blend and balance out the painting.
